Crafted Drinks, Poured with Purpose

Our bar is an extension of the kitchen, drinks chosen not to impress, but to belong. Local ales that reflect the region’s brewing heritage. Crisp whites and structured reds that hold their own beside hearty dishes. Spirits poured with precision, whether it’s a clean gin and tonic or a whisky to wind down with. Nothing flashy, just well-made, well-matched drinks that complete the experience.

The Outside Inn

There’s something wonderfully down-to-earth about enjoying a meal outside. Our outside space is relaxed and welcoming, with sturdy wooden tables, views over Oulton Broad, and the gentle buzz of families and friends catching up. Whether it’s a crisp pint, a chilled glass of wine, or a plate fresh from the carvery, everything tastes just that bit better in the open air, because here, time slows down and moments matter.

Mariners Carvery

Succulent roasts carved to perfection in the welcoming Mariner’s Restaurant, served daily from 12 pm to 9 pm. Generous portions of hearty meat, crisp veg, rich gravies and beloved sauces. A place to gather and savour traditional food whilst overlooking the Broad.

Wherry Events Centre

At The Wherry Hotel in Oulton Broad, the function suite is a well considered space, bright, elegant, and thoughtfully designed to adapt to the occasion. Overlooking the Oulton Broads waters, it offers room for up to 80 guests, with a seamless flow between the event space and the terrace beyond. The facilities are solid,  AV support, flexible lighting, dedicated bar, stage and attentive service that stays quietly in the background. Menus are tailored with care, whether for weddings, corporate  meetings, or gatherings of remembrance. It’s a setting that delivers with quiet confidence, refined, polished, and made for moments that matter.

A Sunday Tradition

The Sunday roast, an age old British tradition, reimagined with a playful nod in our pub. Perfectly roasted meats, spuds with a satisfying crunch, Yorkshires puffed up like proud old hats, and seasonal veg with just the right bite. All bathed in chefs rich, glossy gravy. It’s a meal that feels like a hug from history, comforting, familiar, tasty, but with just enough finesse to keep things interesting. A proper Sunday, done right.
